Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I am, of course, delighted to have your company and eager to share my work and thoughts with you.

This blog exists because 1) it is expected, and 2) the need to share my journey and the emotional debits and credits that lend to the creation of art. like most artists, I generally live through a saga of creation from concept to the finished canvas.

why my art looks like it was made by five different people

as you peruse my galleries, you will notice my work does not necessarily adhere to one definitive style. Sometimes, i am hyper-detailed and sometimes, chaotic or abstract, and sometimes chaotic and abstract. Then, there are days when my work is somewhere in between. These ‘attributes’ are not out of the ordinary whether one is an artist or not but, if one happens to be a neurodiverse artist whose brain is wired differently, these attributes are magnified… hugely. I experience extreme emotional shifts constantly and my art, particularly in terms of style, is a reflection of those shifts. "Consistent branding" or a singular style is not, for the most part, within my realm of possibility. Before I knew this about myself, I was in the habit of chastising these roller-coaster style shifts which greatly impacted how i embraced or rejected my creations. Truthfully, I am still in the habit but I try to be kinder to myself and more accepting of what works for me.
